A new 12 part series called 'Fortitude' will be starting on Sky Atlantic on Thursday 29th January at 9pm. It's a thriller centered on a mysterious death in the Arctic Circle and was filmed in Iceland and the UK.
Oooooo! Did anyone watch this? Gripping stuff I thought. It was on for almost two hours and once or twice I was peeping at the screen. Very atmospheric & a suggestion of supernatural forces - to me anyway. Eat your heart out Broadchurch.
We recorded it as OH was football training last night. We are looking forward to seeing it. I want to watch it with OH but he is working overtime tonight and all weekend so I don't know when we will get the chance.
The man who was killed - Professor Stoddart. He was dead. Then he was not dead. Then he was dead & Dan Anderssen the Sheriff questioned Vincent closely about this. And the French woman was on about monsters.

The advantage of having a husband who likes to watch sport is that we have Sky and I can record the programmes I like to watch when he is not watching sport e.g. There is a football match tonight which he tells me is the most important of the season. I can also watch Sky on my iPad as we have Sky Go. This means that if there is a programme he knows I watch regularly live and it clashes with a football match he will watch the match on his tablet. As we do not gad about much nowadays it is good to have some decent TV that you like to watch at times to suit. Sometimes the programmes all seem to be on at the same time which is when these plus channels come into their own.
{Spoiler}Did you know that no births or deaths are permitted in the town? They said they didn't have the infrastructure but I think it's something darker & the death of the man on the shore has had consequences.
