Thanks everyone - I suspect we've both got THE virus. Mr Nell started to display the symptoms a few days before me and he is just beginning to feel a little better today - 2 weeks on - although he's unbelievably weak and tired. The cough is truly awful but neither of us have breathing difficulties so I convinced myself that we must have escaped but, realistically, that's wishful thinking......
Takes a lot to put us off our food.
Well, if you do have THE virus, despite feeling really awful, it looks as if neither of you need a hospital admission and it's maybe best to get it over with? It's the waiting, and wondering that gets to us, especially as Sam has to keep going into homes and offices.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
Bloomin' eck Nellie ... Take great care of yourselves
If it is the cough I had in December, it is bluddy awful - I had several episodes where I coughed so much I couldn't breath Of course, Covid 19 wasn't around then
That’s the reason that they need to roll out the testing at a much faster rate. Half the country could well be immune and so don’t need to be staying in 24/7.
Oh my Nellie! Hope you both feel much better soon, and no further action is needed.
I had similar to FP & Lily in January last year, could barely breathe at night propped up, it was the first time I have ever needed a puffer thingy. I rarely get ill with flu/colds, but it always goes to my chest and we are talking a serious amount of chest as a work colleague liked to tell everyone lol!
