The chicken bhuna from our local is revolting and nothing like a bhuna, yet everything else is pretty good. It's always annoying when a takeaway treat goes wrong.
They are imported, Mr. M, a lot of Iceland frozen stuff and things like proper salted butter. We go occasionally and buy 20 packs of butter because it freezes well. George, the owner, is Scottish Greek. A great deal of the stuff is cakes, biscuits, sweets, none of which we are interested in but we buy butter, black pudding, pork scratchings, and cumberland sausage. He has always had frozen pork pies but they have been dire. Recently, he has had Wright's pies with a higher % of pork and proper jelly filling and they are delicious. He supplies a lot of big hotels who serve British-style breakfasts. He also has febreze and Zoflora disinfectant as he had so many requests for them and there is nothing similar here. Again, not interested but the British expats love them, Here ~ www.brfoods.gr/
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
