I made my husband a chunk of prime rib. I can't eat red meat so I bought myself two crab cakes at the grocery store deli this morning.
I also peeled and sliced cucumbers and mixed them in a sour cream and cream sauce with dill and Cajun spices.
My husband and I have to eat very different things because of our health needs. He needs to eat a low carb, high protein diet. The doctor advised that he needs to eat meat.
I have to stay away from a lot of meat and lean toward a high fiber diet. (Though I still can't eat some raw vegetables without discomfort in digesting.)
I will have some pasta salad with pasta, tomatoes, feta cheese, olives, mushrooms, fresh spinach and zesty Italian dressing. A little Parmesan cheese on top.
My husband is having chicken drumsticks and wings with hot buffalo sauce.
