My hair is being sorted tomorrow. It grows very fast but it’s been ridiculous since lockdown started. When it’s loose it’s now below the back strap on my bra. 😳
Having about 3+ inches off it will be a weight off my mind.
I’m booked in for eyebrows and no talk of not being able to have it done
Both masked so minimum risk, if they cant be done then so be it, I will make do with my nails for now
Of course if I get offered a sneaky brow wax and tint I will be accepting
I'm really miffed. Miffed I am! I had my tattooed eyeliner redone in February. The procedure involves a touch-up six weeks later if needed for £50. I had a gap so I needed it, but lockdown loomed before my 6 weeks were up. I got in touch with the lady who did it & she reassured me that as soon as things got back to normal we could go ahead. I contacted her yesterday & was told it will set me back £125.00 because it will be 6 months since I was at the salon Need I say I'm researching other cosmetic tattooists
Are they able to perform eyeliner tattooing under the new guidelines
According to WalesOnline -
July 27: Accommodation with shared facilities, as well as museums and galleries, cinemas, beauty salons, and tattoo parlours can all re-open
She (Katrin) asked me to pay £50.00 upfront with no appointment date! Katrin will get clients returning, a sympathy vote, because she announced last week on her FB page that she had had a breast lump removed and put photos of herself recovering. Anyway, 35 was outraged and has been on the case lol. She's got an appointment provisionally booked for both of us on August 11th with a woman in Cardiff. It will cost me £200.00 because I'm a new client (they get you every way don't they), but I'd rather hand over my money to her. Sounds a lot but it does last a couple of years. Edit: I want to add that 35 messaged me with the details above while I was typing this post. Fisick or what!
If that is allowed then I would definitely break the rules and have my brows done if offered
I have had both brow wax and tint and eyeliner tattoo and the tattooing involved a closer proximity and for a far longer length of time
It also involves actual breaking of the the skin so to allow this and not the other is senseless (like a lot of the other stuff they are spouting)
They are probably allowing brow tattooing as well, no wonder people are getting pissed off and thinking feck it I’m doing what I want. And do you know what you cant really blame them
It’s not about safety at all now but pressure on the economy
