Funnily enough they have a climbing frame, slide, swing thingy next door. They have bought a second camera, I'll have to suggest they focus on it for a while lol!
Meanwhile, another 24 hours and 3 have become 4! They all look very healthy tottering about and having a good old scratch. Fleas something hedgehogs are prone to, must drive them nuts!
Well, the hoglets are still here, fully grown and chubby now!
Pictures were taken yesterday, they are also dragging more hay into the nest area, which hopefully may mean they have decided to stay where the food and safety is for the winter. Would be nice to see them pottering about next Spring.
Well, we know at least 2 survived the winter, one appeared last week, and this was taken overnight. Not sure if they stayed or have returned, the larger one is taking new nesting materials in. So happy!
That's great news, it must be nice having them in the garden. The one that visits my garden comes and goes, I see it several evenings in succession and then not for months, I haven't seen it yet this year
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
I put a hedgehog house sheltered under shrubs last autumn, I haven't looked to see if anything used it, it may be some time before it is. Next door spotted the hogs were using as small gap under our dividing fence, and I made one under the bottom fence so they can come and go as they please.
