I don't think we get get that in the UK Talira Greycrest If we do, I haven't come across it. There was an in-depth documentary about Joanne Lees and her missing boyfriend Peter Falconio because they were British and much was made of Ivan Milat, Australia's 'backpacker killer' when he was arrested. We did get 2 seasons of the 'Mystery Road' drama series over here though. I enjoyed them.

This show focuses on some of Australia's most horrific crimes including the Backpacker murders, the Greenough family massacre, the mysterious disappearance of the Beaumont children and the murder of Sydney nurse, Anita Cobby. You might be able to watch it on YouTube. It's also available on 7+.
I can't get that channel here in the United States. But I get The Investigation Discover Channel. I watch Dateline sometimes. Forensic Files is on one of the news channels here late at night.
They focus on true crime stories. They have plenty of true stories about people from all walks of life and from different countries that commit crimes.
I always wonder about the why. What drives someone to kill another human being. Do some people just snap and cross that awful line? Are some people just born with something missing in their brain so they don't feel empathy? Or guilt? (Shrug)
