I know! I was booked to have it extracted last week but the dental receptionist cancelled that appointment and rearranged for 19th August. I don't know whether to waggle it out or not. ...I wonder if the Tooth Viking will come if I get it out & put it under my pillow
If it were me, (which thankfully it isn’t this time) I’d ring the dentist. I’d class it as an emergency. As it will have a root on it you’d have to make sure that wasn’t left in the gum so I wouldn’t waggle it out, if I were you, in case it broke off at the gum. 😳 That’s what happened to my front tooth after the fall.
My husband once had a tooth that was hurting him and loose. He did not want to go to the dentist and asked me if I would yank it out.
I got my hand in just the right position, grabbed, yanked up abruptly, and out it came. He was so relieved he watched a true crime story movie with me afterward. (My reward, I believe)
That was very brave of you kerri My father-in-law tied cotton thread to his tooth and tied the other end to a lump hammer and dropped it over the garden gate. Boom!
This tooth (& it's two neighbours) has a history. It was 'lifted' when I was around 12 to remove a bone cyst following a jaw fracture so it's always been a bit shaky. It should have been taken out in 2019, but we all know what happened then.

Ahhh, I understand. I was 16 when I developed an infection following a punch to my jaw and, after many interventions, eventually had the front bottom 2 removed, hence the tiny denture I swallowed last year. Hope you get to see a dentist soon.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
