We are back to the Lulu thing here along with many others - is it their pension pot?
'Jennifer Aniston is to launch her own beauty brand, LolaVie, on Wednesday. But can the star of Friends and The Morning Show make it in the ever more crowded celebrity beauty space?
The competition is fierce, with Ariana Grande, Hailey Bieber, Kim Kardashian and Harry Styles all rumoured to be following Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Jenner and Alicia Keys into the skincare market’.
It's a very crowded but lucrative market. For example, Goop is a wellness and lifestyle brand and company founded by actress Gwyneth Paltrow valued at more than US$250 million (26 May 2021). I would never be persuaded by the name tag
I wonder what the carbon footprint is of all these people producing celebrity beauty ranges. Looking at the names above, I'm going to make a shrewd guess that the demographic it is aimed at, are very probably the ones campaigning at the way we live the loudest.
Don't they make enough money from what they are already (over) paid to do? This is just greed and I certainly have no desire to make Kylie, JLo, Rihanna and Gwyneth Poltroon any wealthier as I cannot stand them.
'That Government is best which governs least' - Henry David Thoreau. Tomas, ta tú mo ghrá, mo chroí, mo agam agus mo rogha, a chara. Go deo.
I totally ignore anything that’s endorsed by “celebrities,” whether it be fashion or beauty. I can make up my own mind about what I like and want without someone telling me what I need in order to raise their profile.

Yet again I think society is being manipulated by a group of people who pull the strings of that section of the populace who are celebrity groupies, someone is making mega bucks from them.
There was only ITV when I was growing up, and our 9 inch TV only had BBC. Apart from newspapers, and a couple of magazines, a few adverts at the cinema, I think we were influenced by the 60/70's music scene more than anything, hair styles, clothes etc.

What interests me is what the reasoning is - do the naive believe they will end up on the silver screen or looking gorgeous or earning as much as these celebrities do? Or is it because it adds a little bit of ,“I will never be like them but I can use the same face cream.”
I have nothing against her personally. I will avoid films she has been in as they are usually boring, so no, I won't be buying any of her beauty products. She's a lucky girl, she doesn't need them.

Jennifer Aniston and the big names are earning a living as is their right ,it’s the fact that products with celebrity names on have this attraction to everyday folk that bewilders me.
