We often criticise QVC but in fairness over the years I have had some good buys from them -jewellery, clothes even some beauty products the most recent being Simply Beauty Dual Magnification Mirror with Tweezers & Beekman 1802
clothes by Kim, Quacker,Nina Leonard,Indigo Moon Jewellery from Honora Pearls, the chinese lady with the jade
Makeup from Mally,YBF, Eyeko,It..
Rubis tweezers, recommended by someone on the old forum and they are fantastic
...to name but a few
A special mention goes to the set of 3 lidded casserole type bowls that kept food warm for up to 3 hours which were used for over 20 years for family gatherings, parties etc. Also the pan cover which stops the contents boiling over. (I still have two of the bowls and had great trouble sourcing another set when the largest cracked). Heated throws before they were available elsewhere. SBC gels, especially the travel packs Carol Hochman P.J.s - amazing quality.I am wearing a 3 piece set as I type which I have had for many years. Amazing craft bundles - alas no more..
All of the above I would never have heard of before QVC.

Yes Gtech was /is the best! Honora pearls, Perricone, Aveda, Decleor , Lock & Lock, Kim and without Dawn Bibby and Leonie’s crafting I wouldn’t have started crafting , highly recommended for stress busting.I raise a glass to the hilarious Paul Lavers. Loved YBF Stacy! The biggest plus is without Le Q I would not have found Graham’s Gaffe and found so many tinternet mates who have been a great source of fun in my life.
I did once buy Mrs M a delightful diamond necklace, or rather "diamonique" as they curiously called it. The woman on the telly explained that diamonique was exactly the same as diamond but a fraction of the cost, thus the necklace in question was priced at just £8.99 rather than the equivalent diamond version at a ridiculous £15,000. I mean who would pay that when QVC offer such a great alternative?
Anyway after six weeks the necklace had turned green, so I rang QVC to ask for a refund, but she explained that diamonique has this strange effect of turning into emerald or oxygenated copper after a short time, before all the stones disappear out of their settings as if by magic, so my concerns were obviously unfounded. They truly are a very good company to buy things from.
Rugby is on and boredom drove me to look at sandals - 192879 -Skechers Meditation T-Strap Sandal
They didn't have size 3 left, but someone had asked
Asked 2 weeks, 4 days Just want to know what size to order as you never know with Skechers and presenter did not mention anything about sizing
Answers Hi there,
Just to let you know that we don’t provide true to size/fit information but don’t forget that you have our Money Back Guarantee which allows you to order an item and try it out to see if it’s suitable.
The problem with Skechers is they are American, they favour a wider fit, which seems to vary according to style. I wish they have more Relaxed Fit options. As I wear orthotics I can buy my normal size then, rather than go up a half size. QVC have got better stocking half sizes, but they go very quickly.
I think that may just be a Skechers foible rather than American shoe manufacturers' generally because - on the whole - I found that American women, regardless of their size, have narrow, dainty feet which always made buying shoes problematic for me. I have arthritis induced bunions and hammer toes and had to shop in dreary specialist stores.
