I’ve not bought many things that I haven’t liked, barring a top that didn’t suit me at all. I couldn’t be bothered to send it back so it went to a charity shop.
The one purchase that does stick in my memory though, although I didn’t purchase it myself, was a set of wooden building blocks with the alphabet on them. They were given to my son by my aunt for Christmas. A lovely gift you might all say, but …… he was 16 at the time. 😳
on ebay, I found a cd of linda smith's complete history of timewasting- which I was really excited about (radio show I used to like)
well, I ordered it, and when it came, the disk had the biggist crack in it- and one side was all sticky and wet. I dropped it on the table and was like that's not going to work, no matter how much I want it too
1980 Austin Princess 2000HL Aiwa hi-fi system (another 80's thing) Paella from a restaurant in Puerto Pollensa £10 of petrol for my then recently purchased diesel Renault Laguna (itself not a great buy) 'Shiftwork' album by The Fall Bud Lite cans in New York, somehow even liter than the muck we get over here Wedding ring An 8 week old puppy

You could say the purchase was a complete waste of time.
The microwave and cooker I bought when I had a new kitchen 2013.
The interior depth of the M/wave is too shallow, and I miss having an auto-cook feature. I didn't think it would last all that long and was looking forward ditching it, but it's still going strong!
The gas cooker hob is a health and safety nightmare. Extra large pans, which I use a lot, slide around when being stirred, causing the grids to come off. It is very dangerous. I'm pretty sure the rear grill gubbings on the roof of the small oven is no longer working, so I think I may have to buy a new cooker in the not too distant future.

The repair to the oven door Mr BMcP made several winters ago to the door of the fan oven is still going strong here even though I was hoping a new oven was just round the corner.

I can’t kick it lily as it is one of these built in jobs- bottom cupboard, fan oven , 2nd oven with grill, top cupboard. Can’t get arthur legs to kick that high.
