Rather hoping this is a genuine release and not another elaborate hoax, but if true, a 90 minute documentary on the rise and fall of The KLF is out tomorrow (April 4th).
Their earlier recordings relied heavily on samples from other artists, mostly unauthorised. Some samples were huge chunks of music. ABBA took offence at the use of Dancing Queen on the debut LP ('1987, What The F*** Is Going On?'), and all copies had to be destroyed. The few that got out fetch big money although it's a terrible album.
This the only tune of theirs I know, featuring C&W singer Tammy Wynette.
That actually appeared in a very primitive form on the aforementioned debut album (credited to the JAMs). It didn't feature Tammy.
That original version (which I won't link because the track it comes from is so atrocious) is also sampled itself on the KLF's ambient Album, 'Chill Out'.
...works better in the context of the album really.
