Round to friend Gail's house. She has a couple staying with her, they come every year for a holiday and the husband makes amazing curries so we were invited to a curry night with them and another couple. He made 2 different curries, one chicken, one beef and we had all the usual side dishes. Gail had made a milleFeuille for dessert which was really lovely. I am not a dessert person but it wasn't overly sweet. It was a lovely still evening and warm until around 11pm when a light wrap was needed.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I would say that the beef one was Madras hot and the chicken sort of Vindaloo heat. Sam likes a Phal but it's too hot for me and would have probably prostrated the other guests.

To Cardiff with 32. Look what she made me buy Look at them! Look at them! Daps! I said I would never ever buy daps. We are going to Frankfurt tomorrow and Nuremberg on Monday and she said I had to have them to keep up with her. I must admit they are comfortable
I spent a lovely afternoon with my friend, having coffee and a good old natter, in her summerhouse. It was really warm.
There were several squirrels whizzing about on her lawn and digging holes. They were fun to watch but I’m not sure she really wanted nuts buried in her lawn.
Went for a wander down Saltburn beach, it was perfect walking weather.
Dismay set in though as we realised both Oscar's and Seaview chippies were closed. Edna's at the other end was open but they're bloody horrible. Luckily I remembered the one down a back street that only the locals know about so we ended up there and excellent they were too.
