I liked playing sport when I was younger and was fortunate enough to represent the school in netball, swimming and rounders and I could ride, impossible now with these stupid ankles . I played at the local tennis club.When we were first married we used to play badminton at the weekends ( children put an end to that one) and as a teenager used to go to all the home games at Bury FC .I do wish I could do more than daily biking and weekly swim.

A PE teacher offered a few tennis lessons at the Youth Club that was in the grounds of our school so that sparked my interest in the game.
