Has Hartley settled down now Mr Moody? Is he pretty well behaving?
He's rarely badly behaved, kerri, but he's at his "teenage" stage so he thinks he knows it all when he really doesn't. We had a long battle with getting him to come back to us after a run on the field or the beach, he used to leg it for another few laps, but now as long as we're stern with him, he comes back without much fuss.
I was talking to a woman with a poodle on the field earlier, the dog is very possessive of his toy ball and growls at her if she tries to take it off him. He proved this to me by snapping at Hartley who just wanted to play. Hartley doesn't have a nasty bone in his body, the only time he growls is when we're playing tug with his rope and it's a playful growl, nothing vicious.
Sam at a customer’s house today. They had a massive dog, biggest Sam has ever seen. While he was working on their computer he heard the dog whimpering. “Is he all right?” He enquired. Owner laughed and told him to go and look. In the next room was an equally large dog bed with a cat sitting in the middle of it The dog was crying….the cat was unimpressed.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
