Saw this curious chart where people have put some classic British grub into tiers, depending on how much people liked each food as a %.
There's a few strange results, such as haggis and steak & kidney pudding in the bottom tier while a plain old Yorkshire Pud is at the top. Pork pie, steak and kidney pie and Scotch egg should also be higher up. Toad in the hole in the middle tier makes no sense when the aforementioned plain Yorky is at the top. And of course no parmo.
There is nothing there I dislike, Can't eat liver and I've never tried laverbread. There are a few I would most likely include in monthly meals, most would be on rare occasions.
