We didn't have them last night, so had them for brekkie this morning, with fresh lemon juice and a sprinkling of sugar. I just can't get my head around having them with bacon and maple syrup, it actually makes me feel ill on holiday seeing people with their plates piled high with eggs and fruit added to the mix scared1
I remembered in the morning but had forgotten by the evening! Himself didn't buy any flour when he went shopping so I could only have made gluten free ones which he wouldn't eat anyway.
Thin pancakes have to be with sugar and lemon, but I love thick American style ones with really crispy bacon and maple syrup. I make a darn good thick pancake - I used to make them regularly for Sunday brunch.
