I decanted my sloe gin over the weekend, it's delicious, some of the best I have made.
I'm putting it down to the plumptious Yorkshire sloes I ordered on eBay. I kept the sellers details and will buy again this year, saves the hours of finding and picking which is a chore for me now to be honest. The sloes were fresh and so ripe I just bashed them a bit with a wooden mallet and bottled. Whole job done in about 1 1/2 hours.
