The Food and Drug Administration has approved a new injection designed to melt away double-chin fat.
According to a statement released by the organization on Wednesday afternoon, the approved drug, Kybella, is aimed at 'adults with moderate-to-severe fat below the chin, known as submental fat'.
'Kybella is administered as an injection into the fat tissue in the submental area,' the statement continued. 'Patients may receive up to 50 injections in a single treatment, with up to six single treatments administered no less than one month apart.
Yes Mim, I was quite shortsighted, I'd got to the stage where I just couldn't wear lenses anymore, my eyes were too dry, and after wearing lenses for 35 years, your sight just isnt as good with glasses. So a few seconds of zapping my eyeballs and my eyesight is better than 20/20.
Oh Cog, Snarly has that on my ToDo list. By the time I can afford it, Snarly'll be told, "You is too old!"
Snarly's been using Nip&Fab 4% glycolic fix serum (bought from Boots, on sale) - ta to OurMim and OurTinks on their posts. My skin is definitely looking better. The skin pores are just itty-bitty now. The major change is that my nose doesn't look like a strawberry anymore (not daColour, but when daBlackheads look like daStrawberrySeeds).
Ooo I'm pleased you've seen a difference Snarly. I'm on my second one. I'm not overly sure I can see a massive difference but my skin feels really soft.
