While we know that the Cocteau's rendition of Frosty The Snowman has to be the coolest Christmas record like EVER here's a chance to vote for your least favourite song - (you can also vote for a second one).
While Do They Know It's Christmas was for a good cause, just the beginning of it can be enough to make you switch radio channels. I'm including A Spaceman Came Travelling because while I might love it, the world has never really forgiven him for Lady In Red.
I'm expecting a landslide for Slade (this is one that really gets on people's threepennies) but maybe Cliff or East 17 will run it close.

Sorry ACF but as I don't want to put a dampner on my Christmas spirit I stopped reading at Christmas in Blobbyland and can't go any further without serious damage to myself.
Apart, of course, from the Blobby one this looks like a list of contenders for the BEST Christmas song to me - especially East 17!
Have you heard Maps doing it Nellie?
I think this is a lot better - it's actually not a bad song, just that East 17 were, well, you know, maybe it's a bit like Patience, I have always thought, far too good a song for Take That.
Cliff's Millennium Prayer - sorry, but I would rather have my spine stabbed with an icepick than listen to that (or any of his Christmas songs actually!) In fact, I would rather listen to my other nomination, Ricky Tomlinson!
I don't know, by their titles, many of those listed. But I do know Band Aid and Slade and they are both extremely irritating. So those are my choices.
The only Xmas song, besides carols, that I can repeatedly enjoy hearing is Walking in the Air, oh.....and Sleigh Bells by Leroy Anderson.....he wrote some nice stuff.
