Check that the student is in her final year of training Snarly. I've heard some horror stories where the newly taught have been let out of the traps on an unsuspecting client.
For my 60th I 'gifted' myself a pedicure, eyebrowThreading, manicure and hair cut at a TopSalon. The pedicure was nice as she did the gel/French style which I could never do on my toes. I'd get that done again as it looked very tidy and lasted months and months. The eyebrow threading gave me the same result as when I pluck them, so I must be doing it in the right shape. The haircut was super-quick and my own hairdresser takes her time, for less money. I get a dry haircut as a wash, cut and blow-dry would sap all of my strength. The manicure? Never again. She poked and prodded too deeply for my liking, and as I push back the cuticles regularly, they were in good condition. Then she trimmed the cuticles and I bled from two fingernails. I'm gonna try the local BeauticianSchool in daNewYear.
I'll never forget actually, it was called French at 48 because it was at number 48 Queen's Road, Buckhurst Hill, and owned by a woman whose surname was French. Retired now fortunately..........
I prefer to do my own cuticles.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I don't particularly like being pawed by strangers, but I enjoy getting my hair done every week, and having manicures and pedicures. I did have a massage when we went to the Isle of Wight with our friends in October, because I did all the driving and my back was getting achy, but I'm not usually that keen. I've had to have physio on my back because of a problem, and that was quite torturous.
