I was given some Clarins goodies for Christmas and there were two samples of the Double Serum.
I have used one and really like it. Yorko, I think I remember you mentioning that you use it. Would you recommend it? The price is a bit eyewatering but I have a lot of Boots points stored up.
I only use it at night and 1 pump will do the whole face, 30ml last about 6 months doing it that way, which will mean lovely skin for your upcoming holiday
I see from a different thread that you got some of their body lotion, I used to use it years ago and then changed to Decleor. I have since gone back to Clarins and it is absolutely lovely
Yes, I was well and truly spoilt this year. The Clarins stuff is lovely and I actually prefer it to the Sanctuary (don't tell 26!). I will save the Clarins for special occasions, if there are any LOL
Yorko do you use any of the Clarins moisturisers after the serum?
I had some of the Restorative Night moisturiser samples with my Clarins serum. It is good too but it is mega expensive. It's a mixed blessing getting these samples. You really like them but can't afford to buy the full size. Grr
I do believe that the creams are really good but TBH Ive looked after my skin for years and don't really need the special over 50's creams just yet.
I usually use Decleor or one of the other Clarins creams, depending on what is on special offer on one of the many websites I buy from but tried something new (for me at least) also from Boots and have to say that it does a good job. Probably works well due to the fact that the serum is so good
Ive only used the day and night cream so far so can't speak for the other stuff but I have decided that once it runs out I will go back to my usual and see if there is any difference. If not I will probably stick with the Boots stuff as its a great price
Ive learnt that you can mix the expensive with the more affordable, its just a case of finding the right combination
I have looked at the Superfacialist range on the Boots website before. It was made by Una Brennan who is an Irish lady. She was on QVC a few times selling something or other a few years ago. They don't have it in store here so you would have to buy it on-line. It does get very good reviews.
I use the Aldi Expert night cream which is nice, but I am still ploughing through the samples I got for Christmas. The Clarins stuff is way out of my price range but I would try and manage to buy the serum as I really like it.
