Ive used Bare Minerals a lot @gibby, and like it very much but I did try the Lily Lolo and found it to be as good if not better and a lot cheaper as well
I've used BM for years. I absolutely love it. I have used Laura Geller on and off for a change but I'm now back on BM. I mainly used medium beige in winter, with fairly light if I'm deathly pale and medium tan in summer. I use their Ready blush in The Faux Pas.
I also use their Ready eyeliner. But I think that might be a one off for QVC. I previously used their loose eyeliner.
On Mr Y's recommendation I tried Lily Lolo and found it to be less "scratchy" on my skin than the BM mineral foundation. The tester size is a great idea too.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
They go into detail about the colours on QVC so you might be able to find a video - although I have a feeling they discuss the various female presenters and what shade would be appropriate for them so unless you know who they are talking about this information is useless LOL
I'll get my coat.......

I'm a dark olive skinned baby if that helps any. Think Spanish/Italian. I can wear medium beige almost all year round. Medium tan is best once I have a tan but I can cope with medium beige and a bronzer if I'm stuck. I can also wear fairly light in the depths of winter when I'm quite pale but that's a rarity and usually only if I've seen devil all sunshine for most of the summer. But again I can wear it and warm it up with a bronzer.
I have no pink tones in my skin at all. In my head I don't think I'm yellow toned either but I clearly am. And I think that's the key with BM. Get the colour family right and it makes it easier.
