I've just discovered, once again, that my sun cream of choice (L'Oreal Solar Expertise) has been discontinued thanks to the interference of the E*******U.
To be fair, the first time was due to the US FDA who banned Bergasol and it was some years ago but I still bear a grudge. LOL
I would be very grateful if anyone could recommend another brand for very fair and sensitive skin to save me wading through dozens of products and getting hives and/or worse. I hate heavy and sticky creams.

I doubt I will be much help Nellie. We bought a couple of bottles of sun cream from Lidl on Saturday and a bottle of their sun protection oil. I also have a unopened bottle of Ultrasun Face 30. It will be very hot in Lanzarote next month - NEXT MONTH, YIPEE!!
Sorry.... I am very fair skinned but luckily I can use any sun cream without getting hives or prickly heat. In the past I have found that even using sun cream reliously I still burn on the first few days of holidays abroad.
I'm no use for recommends as I'm dark olive skinned and sensitive to nowt. Except Ultrasun would you believe!!
I like Boots own brand if I'm honest. Its one of the few brands that offer mozzie protection and that's my biggest problem. I'm definitely going to get bitten and unlikely to burn. Avon do a anti mozzie one too. If anyone spots any others please do let me know.

Nellie knows how pale and freckly I am so when I say the Aldi Calypso is the best I have ever used, like DD , she can be sure it has been road tested- even Mr FP likes it.
I put a lot of time and effort getting rid of some dark freckles that appeared on my face without so much as a by your leave. Painful it was too. Ali Lung would not have approved. The key thing then became keeping them away and the only product that has done that for me personally is Ultrasun Face SFP 30.
Sadly, lots of brands aggravate the rosacea on my face - especially the very high SPF creams that leave a thick white residue on the skin that clogs the pores.
A couple of the Calypso reviews mention a strong smell of alcohol when used on the face - unfortunately, that's another red flag for me as is citronella, the mozzie repellant.

Do you find this Ultrasun sticky and/or heavy on the skin, Liv?

I have Ultrasun Face 30 Nellie. It seems a bit thick when you first put it on but it sinks in quickly and is not sticky. I was going to buy the Face 50 but really the 30 is adequate protection and I worried it might be too thick.
As @itchy says Nellie, the 30 is fine, but I found both the Face 50s (silver & lilac versions) too thick. They just seemed to sit there, on my face tackily all day. I really liked Soap & Glory Make Yourself Youthful Sunshield Superfluid spf 50 - lovely stuff, but it was not once a day and my dark freckles started winking at me.
