I've had to keep some clothing items close-by the last couple of days, just in case someone came to the door.
Cool this morning, all doors & windows open so the breeze can clear the house. It rained overnight and is right now, more to come the next 24 hours, lovely.
It's certainly cooler outdoors than it is inside today, presumably because it takes a couple of days for the temperature indoors to drop (insulated walls etc) but I'm not opening doors or windows to let a breeze in because inevitably 🕷will breeze in too.
some people’s negative response to sunshine is so marked that it is now being recognised as a medical condition.
Just as a lack of sunlight in the winter months can trigger seasonal affective disorder (SAD), evidence is emerging that long hours of daylight and heat during summer can also wreak havoc with people’s body clocks. This has been dubbed ‘reverse-SAD’ or ‘summer-SAD’ and it leads to a dip in mood and even depression. ... It’s estimated that one in ten people with SAD suffer from the summer variant.
