Even if you aren’t a crafter you might remember Dave from his QVC days. After Julian’s ill fated Craft Channel crashed Dave was taken on by Hochanda but he is rejoining C&C from June10th.
I buy a few things from them, but always order online. I have no intention of ordering on the phone because of the high charges. I'm lucky because I've never had a problem with anything that I've ordered not arriving or being faulty. On the one occasion that I returned a top that was too big, the refund was given far quicker than QVC does it,

You have to bring in the big guns with IW/C&C Customer Service - it is the same lot. As their CS is mainly abroad they do not understand what you have written in an email and therefore their response ,if the problem is not bog standard, is laughable. If I get a response that indicates they haven’t grasped the problem I have an email for the trouble shooting department over here which gets an immediate response and sorts it out. Nowadays they expect you to trot off to ASDA if they make a mistake and send you the wrong item but I have courteously explained that I will not waste my petrol going to my nearest ASDA on their errors so I get sent the printable form for the local shop, I also expect an immediate despatch of the correct item rather than waiting for the wrong item to reach them before they fulfil my order. Crafting items are not dependent on your sizing and most crafters are aware of the stock they are ordering so it is more the warehouse errors that they make that need returning. This year there have been several warehouse errors and on two occasions the goods have been delivered in already opened packaging with items missing. I have to say I don’t think I have ever had that problem with QVC over the years.
