I doubt it. Why kill off such a lucrative money spinner. My feeling is it's hype, but what do I know? " Three endings have been shot for the next film, No Time to Die, fuelling rumours that producers are planning sweeping changes to the 007 series.

Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton were OK, but having watched Daniel Craig ruin the Bond character in Casino Royale, I've not bothered since. Bond does not get his b*llocks whipped.
Bond is on every Christmas and Easter. How any one could miss them ... I suppose you switch channels lol I skipped most of the Roger Moore Bond films. Having read a few Ian Fleming Bond books, he did not fit my image of Bond at all. The only two I found credible were Sean Connery and Daniel Craig and I shall be sad to see Daniel bow out. The bookies have been taking bets on Daniel's replacement since he announced the first time he'd finished with Bond. I should clarify - that was before he made this final final Bond film.
As for casting a female Bond and all the other variations touted, I doubt it will happen, but if it does it will flop.
Bond is Bond. The films do what it says on the tin so why some critics are surprised stumps me.
Makes no sense whatsoever for the 007 character to suddenly become black or female. Perhaps, he could partner up with a black, female, gender neutral person, a 006 or 008.
Why stop at Bond? Let's have a female Sherlock Holmes.
Have you ever watched Starwars or The Sound of Music, cassandra , ?
Not Starwars. I remember taking the children to see the Sound of Music when they were little but they mostly slept through it. It was because it was on a family ticket and very cheap.
Love the radio show "I've never seen star wars" though.
