There have often been comments about QVC customers receiving used goods as new, despite the protestations from the customer service team that that would never happen.
I visit the QVC Facebook page, as a visitor, and often see posts about this issue. Well, today a customer posted a photo about an item she had received. If you click on the image you will see the item in its full glory.
They are supposedly a brand new pair of Ruth Langsford jeans. Spot the problem???
Yes, someone bought them, cut off the legs and returned them, complete with the label still attached. They could well have done it to check the efficiency of the returns department. Clearly she’s proved that they don’t check the returns before sending them out to some poor unsuspecting customer. 😳
It appeared to be, judging by the recipient’s post and the fact that the QVC team replied to her post very quickly. In the past, people have received handbags with tissues and receipts in them and a few months ago someone received a pair of soiled white trousers. 😳
I used to buy a lot from them, but in the past couple of years have really curbed my spending. I can usually source their items more cheaply elsewhere but also things I ordered have never arrived which resulted in signing forms and waiting for three weeks for a refund.
I really can fathom this. What was the point of cutting off the legs & sending them back when the sender COULD have been identified. I'm afraid I'm inclined not to believe it happened.
I agree with you about that, liv, unless she sent them back without enclosing the returns slip. QVC are probably inundated with returns every day and I doubt returns are checked properly. The customer may be well off enough not to have requested a refund, in favour of showing up QVC’s returns well-oiled department. Who knows. 😳
But, whatever happened, someone has cut those new jeans up and if she was trying to alter them into shorts it’s a pathetic effort because the legs are different lengths.
