After feeling ashamed at the state of cat fur on the throws on the conservatory furniture ( do not be deceived by the term ‘British shorthair) I have replaced all throws and cushion covers today. In honour of Nellie have some elephant cushion covers. Cannot fault Evri ( aka Hermes) on the delivery.
We've got a Dunelm shop about 3 miles away & I'm in there a lot. Recently I replaced two KS duvets, last year it was bed feather & down pillows (I'm not attempting to wash & dry them again!) They have a good selection of cushions or just cushion covers if that's all you need. When we had the bathroom done I bought towels from Dunelm in various weights and thickness. Mostly excellent. I'll know next time not to buy any more of the thick pile Egyptian cotton ones. Bluddy fluff everywhere -still- even after several washes. And of course, they sell crockery ...
I just remembered I was there buying picture frames a few months ago and in December they were selling lidded straw hampers in various sizes, the idea being you filled them yourself with Christmas goodies. I nabbed one of them. DB fitted sheets were on offer for a tenner last month so that was mine too. Oh yes, I wanted a bed throw for winter. They were either too small or swamping so I bought a DB Fogarty summer weight duvet and a cover for it for a bargain price.
I've bought Fogarty Soft Touch sheets and pillowcases for a while now. They really live up to the description. The new dark grey colour I wanted for the duvet was not in the range so I looked on eBay. I took a chance and ordered what was described as 'Washed Linen Look Duvet Cover with Pillowcase.' The photo looked good, the colour looked good and the feedback was good. Two days later I realised it was made by Brentfords- yes, that's the one lol. It came this morning and the label predictably read '100% polyester.' I started to sweat just at the thought. I put a pillowcase on and read the label on the one I took off, the Fogarty pillowcase - 100% polyester
