I have been road testing a Kipling shoulder bag which transforms into a back pack without having to mess about unbuckling straps etc , you just slide the straps , while we are away. It was in the sale and I liked the idea of being able to use it as an ordinary bag but then being able to convert it when needed to use my walking poles without the bag forever falling off my shoulder. Kipling bags are light and you can stuff them to the gills too , the outside zipped pocket goes against your back so a thief can’t rob you easily as you walk. Anyway it’s proved a keeper and ideal for holidays, days out etc.
