I have wanted one of the storage unit kits for ages but the price has always put me off. Turned on the TV on Sunday morning to find all the kits with paper and dies etc were at half price! That was it, I was having one! Took me a while to decide but I finally chose the Verona. It arrived yesterday and this morning I started to assemble it. I got half way and discovered I was missing two pieces but had another piece in triplicate! 'Bugger' says I! The thought of sending it back to C&C didn't appeal over much so I contacted Tonic Studios direct. No problem, they will send me out the missing panels, no need to involve C&C they said! Miffed I can't assemble it till next week probably, but relieved I don't have to send it back and faff around with C&C!
On a related note, OH knows I love to decorate boxes and things and I have shown him these kits before. I happened to mention it took me a while to choose which one I wanted as I like them all so he offered to buy me the other 2 for my birthday! Oh, I am very happy. It honestly wasn't why I told him about them, but that is a perfect outcome! That will keep me out of mischief for a while!!

I have seen pics of the finished boxes EB and they look gorgeous. Please put pics up when you have finished decorating. Jodie makes it look easy , but she is so talented.
I will do, FP (if they turn out ok!) It will be a while though - I won't get the other two till next month! It will take me ages just to choose which papers to use as they all look so lovely. I am really looking forward to doing them though.
Not as impressed as I was at first - I am still waiting for my missing panels. It is over a week since I contacted them and, despite several emails, I have a semi constructed unit sitting round gathering dust. I am beginning to regret not just sending it back to C&C and getting a new one. I want to get on with it, but there is nothing I can do.
Somewhat trepidatious at what I am going to find when I get the other two sets on Wednesday. Mind you, if they are ok they could be finished before this one!

They will be fab EB. Apparently Lidl have had some ready decorated ones on sale over the last couple of weeks. It looks beautifully messy to do.I would end up with paint and paste everywhere, I think that's why Serif suits me. They are bringing out some quilling digikits this week in the DT shop. They look gorgeous.
It can be a bit messy FP, but I love doing them. I have done loads of mirrors and boxes over the years and have sold quite a few too!
They finally got their ar$es in gear and got the panels to me this morning. Actually, they have sent me the whole Verona unit again. I will take the two panels I need to finish the one I started but then, with a bit of tweaking and sanding, I can adapt the remaining set (with the 2 extra panels from the first set) to make a very similar unit.
I didn't want to do that originally as I had paid for a proper one, but I am quite happy to tweak and cobble together a second unit. Two for the price of one!!
