A good example of someone else's imagination ruining a book that you have known and loved for 55 + years. To make the book into a trilogy was bad for the book and just greedy.
The Hobbit is only about three hundred pages long so that's some going making so many films out of it. I've seen two of them with Himself and although they were entertaining while watching, I can't remember much about them now.
