Mum belongs to several Spinone groups on FB, and they often organise meet ups. We haven't managed to get to one before, but were determined to make it to the one yesterday.
The AA route planner said it would take us 1 hr 40 mins to get there, in the end, we did it in 1 hr 20, I did wonder when we were going to get there, so kept getting up to see if we were nearly there yet! We paid our £2 to park and I couldn't wait to get out of the car. I spied sand and WATER!!!
When we got out of the car, there were lots of other dogs that looked a bit like me!! We set off on the beach, and I ran and ran and ran. I splashed in and out of the water all the time. We met lots of other dogs, I thought I heard someone sat they were hungry, but it might've been Hungarian h0129.
There was a naughty boy called Gideon who kept trying to get me to play with him, but I didn't want to, I just wanted to play in the water.
After we'd finished our walk on the beach, we walked with Branston and his Mum and Dad to the pub. I didn't know we were going, I haven't been to a pub before. We were allowed to go inside and sit by the table, but we had to promise to be good. My Mum and Dad had fish and chips, and because I was a good girl, my Dad gave me some of his, even though Mum said no.
When we finished, we walked back to our car and came home.
I was really pooped, and slept all the way home, then had my dinner, and slept till it was time to go to bed, then I slept some more.
I'm going to go next time, because I enjoyed it very muchly.
