The outdoor lights go up on the 1st here, and the outdoor wreath is fixed about 20th. Indoor decorations go up about the middle of the month. We have a large tree in the living room, a small shimmer tree on the half landing which can be seen from the front door and a small sprig of mistletoe in the entrance hall.

I have made a lovely new bow for my Aldi wreath and it is going ou on Dec 1st. Rest of the decorations are dependent on goodwill of DH as they are on a high shelf in the garage which I can't reach. No Advent calendars here- but there is a bag of chocolate left over from Hallowe'en
I can't get my head into the Christmas period at all this year, mainly because of the weather!
It's so mild. Had windows and doors open a week ago, I'm not sleeping well because I'm too warm and still have lightweight duvet on the bed. I've even discarded my fleeces at the moment!
Various festivities usually start the first Sunday in December, but it's been bought forward a week this year so I'll be having my first glass of mulled wine tomorrow at step-grandaughter's birthday party. That normally triggers things off for me.
I'll be putting up the tree next w/e mainly because it's such a faff, I want to get the most out of it. I wouldn't have bothered, but the Coglet and his g/f are coming for Christmas, and our friends will also be having Christmas dinner with us. I don't do a lot else in terms of decoration, just put a garland around the hearth and that's it.
