I hate these gimmicks. I get half a tree at checkout with receipts for money off my next shop & pence off petrol. I've taken to wrapping these receipts around my club card so they are to hand next time. I just want to buy cheaper petrol without silly coupons I want six sausages - £3 but £5 if I buy two. Just give me one pack of sausages for £2.50. Simples.

I know! Now when I get to the paying online page it brings up the deals I have ignored and the things I usually buy but haven't. Adds extra minutes to completing the shop. As for the coupons! I now have one place where I put them immediately on return home otherwise I lose them or forget to use them.
The technology must exist for the coupon/offer values to be linked to your loyalty card, the coupons drive me nuts! I use mine asap otherwise I lose them, and being behind someone with stack they have saving for months is very irritating.
Bonmarche annoy me as well with the cards you get stamped. Rarely remember I've got a full one or it has run out when I do.

That took me some time to figure Mim.
I had no idea why you would be buying a tree when it is past Christmas let alone half a tree.
I asked someone here, they think what you mean is all that paper amounts to half a tree?
