We've just been away, and The Princess has been to stay with her sitter. When we collected her yesterday, Suzanne told us that the other day when she was out with her, 2 nasty Labradors just appeared from nowhere and started attacking her. smiley-sad050
She didn't want to let go of the lead, because she was worried she'd bolt in fright, and said the the two lab owners rushed over to get their dogs off, but my little girl was on the ground literally screaming. When she got her home she said she slept for hours, but was ok the next day, and she's been fine today when we took her out.
Labradors are usually pretty docile, so I have no idea why they would attack a dog that doesn't give off any aggressive vibes whatsoever. If we'd been with her, I'm afraid Mr Cog would've booted the pair of then for attacking his girl.
Poor lass what a terrifying experience for her. Thank goodness she escaped unscathed, physically. As you say it's unusual for labs to be so aggressive, but then I suppose the pack mentality kicks in.
Poor Princess she must have been terrified, the are so many Labs about so hope she doesn't have any lasting problems mixing with the breed in the future
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
