Anyone else get their free samples, plus a money off voucher, for the new Whiskas sachets, courtesy of Tesco Clubcard presumably?
The cats stopped eating this a while back, obviously not just mine, but they scoffed it down today so I'll start buying it again when it appears. Coming soon apparently.
I got two sachets in a box as free sample from Sainsbury's last week, I couldn't see any difference in either the package or the contents, plus there was a £1 voucher off a box of 12 Whiskers at Sainsburys
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
There was a time we bought this brand for Meg, but then she went off it..... As she did Felix, Whiskas, Purins, Hills ....... Currently we are on Pets At Home's own brand Ever So Tasty - but only the fishy ones. What she wants is dried food preferably Go-Cat but she can't have dried food anymore because of recurrent bouts of cystitis.
I must remember to try the Ever So Tasty next time I'm in P@H. I buy a variety of makes but like Meg they went off Whiskas. They like the new ones so we'll see how it goes.
I only buy Gourmet Cat when it's on offer, and they only seem to do one mix in jelly. The ones in gravy made Jasper and Millie sick.
My two had samples as well and they both liked it. They're not fussy though. Well Alf certainly isn't. If its in his bowl he'll eat it. Harvey is more picky but prefers the biskwits anyway so as long as he has a go at whatever I put down I'm happy.
I buy whatever is on offer. Then the have fresh fish or prawns once a week and two different types of Royal Canin biskwits. Harvey likes Royal Canin so even though I've tried them on others we stick with the RC. I stock up when its on offer but will buy it anyway as they literally eat every single biskwit.
I haven't had any food left in the bowls since Boots arrived which is a bonus. Millie seems to take great delight in finishing anything Boots leaves, whether she likes it or not lol!
After two days of Meg starving herself I gave in and went to Pets&Home this morning to buy 4 boxes of Meg's fav, Every So Tasty Adult 7+ Fish Selection. The last lot of Ever So Tasty was a box of 48 sachets reduced because some of the sachets had no print on them. It was a big mistake. We were down to the chicken and turkey options when she went on strike. Now our Meg knows I fret when she won't eat because it means I can't get her cystitis medication inside her. She sits and stares at me & does a little swoon every now and then as well just to pile on the pressure. I even tried putting her bowl outside and calling Judas to eat Meg's beefies but it had no effect. She looked at me as if to say 'He's welcome to it & I hope he ...' Well, anyway, she refused point blank. She has gulped down the Tuna sachet & I'm doling out the White Fish option a bit at a time in case she's sick, though I suppose if I left Himself's shoes out .........
Tesco has a cat food bin for placing donated food. The unopened sachets went in there. It was overflowing with cat food. The dog box next to it was nowhere near half full.
