My new Aldi flybat has its batteries inserted and is ready to go. I have not managed to swat the one buzzing around the room as yet. Any tips on technique? I am used to the flyswot variety.
Don't touch it to see what the zap feels like. I once did at my friend's house and .................. ouch. The bluebottles won't know what's hit them. And I'd adopt the "Andy Murray" technique ........... forehand, backhand, overhead shot, lob. One is bound to make contact.
I haven't got a problem this year, unless the fly is quick enough to get out of the door it's days are numbered by Boots, who still enjoys catching & crunching!
I've got one buzzing around as I type! Can't use fly killer because of the cats even if they're out I'd be worried they'd eat the sprayed flies so I use an old fashioned fly swot. Unfortunately Harry is absolutely terrified of it and rushes out of the house when it makes an appearance, he's been scared of it from day one I don't know why I've never used it anywhere near him !
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
