Got my first shufty at the new range/brand from Phase Eight. Does sizes 16-24. One of two really nice pieces. The materials used are beautiful. Very Phase Eight in its style and feel.
Bought the Molly Print Spot Cardi. Beautifully soft. Quite structured so would double as a jacket. Looked fab over the plain black dress I wearing. I have a pair of dark grey trousers too and a simple top in the same fabric. Think this could work with those.
Ah I saw that. Its slightly more plummy in real life I think but have to say I didn't study it closely. Think they might also have had it in grey?
My winter coat is along those lines. Mine is pure wool. I call it boiled wool but I'm never sure if it really is. Its unlined as this one is ... I think!! Mine is sort of a blackcurrant/berry colour. Great for keeping warm but not too hot when your personal thermometer goes in the wonk. Mine has more of a flouncy colour and I fasten it with a brooch. If I fasten it at all.
I'm at home now and the grey spots on the cardi are more or less the colour of my grey trousers. Really pleased with it.
I'm not quite sure how they intend to run the two together. I was slightly surprised to see they had different websites. I don't know if the two will share shops or not.
I went back yesterday to buy this. Pale pink but works so well under the cardi. Again so much nicer in the real.

I have never seen Phase Eight in the flesh so to speak, only through HOF, John Lewis, Debenhams online. I bought some summer dresses from HOF online when they were on sale earlier this year and really like them along with another brand I had never seen Gina Bacconi. I hadn't worn dresses in years but find these look good and I feel comfortable in them. The Gina Bacconi has longer sleeves so I can wear it when it gets parky.
