Rise And Shine was I think the slogan for Kellog's Corn Flakes. When I came to compile this list I was a bit surprised that Frosties are now called Frosted Flakes (how long has this been going on?). The lists were quite westernised and in six listings there was no mention of Sugar Puffs anywhere! So to balance things I included those and Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes, Krave and even Alpen (though it's muesli and some might say the devil's work) - I considered Ready Brek but in the end stuck mostly to cereals. This first list I studied wasn't well received...
I actually like very few cereals. The ones aimed at kids are far too sugary and anything with malt tastes manky to me lol. I think that's because we only had porridge as a cereal as kids. Mostly we had eggs and toast for breakfast. The perils, or pluses, of having a plentiful supply of eggs on the farm.
They took the sugar out of Sugar Puffs & now they are disgusting. They look & taste like polystyrene. I know there is a clampdown on sugar, but that used to be my only sweet indulgence. If they are so worried about sugar ban chocolate... Exactly! I rarely eat breakfast, maybe a banana if it's going to be a long day out.
Nestlé Gluten-free Honey Flakes - or whatever the heck they are called! About the only cereal I eat these days. They are fairly reasonably priced for GF. Had you asked a few years ago my answer would have been Shreddies, Shredded Wheat (preferably mini) and Sugar Puffs. The last one I particularly miss!
I do love porridge, I just can't be ar$ed to make it most of the time (even in the microwave) but I am quite partial to Ready Brek too.
I presume that list is American with Smorz, Reese's, Fruit Loops and so on.

Can't vote on this as my go to breakfast is unsweetened plain Greek yogurt which I read this week is actually supposed to be a good sustaining breakfast. Boris likes to lick the bowl clean after I have finished so I am claiming it as a cat's breakfast too.
I've stopped eating cereals, honey nut cornflakes, bran flakes/sultanas, and weetabix use to be my favourites. I do love porridge, has to have some golden syrup though.
