I only use this service very occasionally but had this email from them today:
Dear JUST EAT Customer, The online security of our customers is really important to JUST EAT. We will never ask you to enter your JUST EAT account details or any personal information via email. And we don't store payment information or card details anywhere in our systems. Some customers are receiving particularly sophisticated scam emails. These emails look like they come from JUST EAT and ask you to enter personal and JUST EAT account details. ere is an example of one of the scam emails:
The way I read it was like the email was part of a grooming process of a scam. Like, believe us not the others, then they gain your trust and hit. After all, your focus is only on the content, not where the email has come from, once your interest or even suspicion is aroused. It has got to the point now where even if it is the most realistic email from my bank and has any kind of clickable link inside, it gets deleted. There have always been criminals, all the internet seems to have done is make things easier for them.
