Gold star Nellie ! I have been listening rather than reading. I am alternating between the historical Gil Cunningham crime books set around Glasgow and the new Faith Martin series Ryder and Loveday. I reheard the whole of my Paul Temple , Ngiao Marsh, Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister in early lockdown as an alternative to lockdown comfort food. I find literature soothing when there is ‘stuff’ going on.
I don't know if you have come across The Freeman Files, FP but they are cold cases and similar to the Faith Martin books, I have found them really enjoyable.

Since the lockdown started, I’ve read no books at all. 😳
I don't think I have ever gone a day without reading since I was 3 years old unless you count the days I was in a coma after giving birth to number 5...

I can’t exist properly without literature to hand. I have been making videos for my granddaughter when we were not able to see her - ‘Poetry Time With Grandma’. Edward Lear, Walter de la Mare’s ‘ Peacock Pie’, Michael Rosen’s ‘A Great Big Cuddle’. She watches them in her bath. I can’t wait to share the Milly Molly Mandy books and ‘My Naughty Little Sister’ with her. Actually I have a huge list of books to read to her!
Too numerous to mention since I last posted but currently reading Helen Durrant's Calladine and Bailey detective series as they were on offer for a 10 book bundle for $1.25 and they are enjoyable.

When I looked on Audible I have the first one of that series in my Wish List so when I get this month’s credits I might give it a go. I have been re-listening to a lot of favourite series as I usually do when the world seems mad and I need some familiar soothing noises. At the moment it’s the JM Gregson Lambert & Hook series. A couple of my books have disappeared into the ether recently which seems to be about licensing agreements running out. When Audible do that I think they should give you an automatic credit.

Just returned an audio book that was like an old fashioned Mills & Boon. I really enjoy the Kate Ellis ‘Wesley Peterson ‘ series so tried her new one with Detective Albert Lincoln. Oh dear! Shall not be following this character.

I have just finished all twenty-odd Wesley Peterson books, on my kindle. I enjoyed them. I then tried with her detective Joe Plantagenet books. After the second one I decided not to buy any more.
I have just finished the 7 book Tyrone Swift detective collection by Gretta Mulroony. Really enjoyed them, didn't want them to end, I can thoroughly recommend them.
