As you may know, I belong to several FB dog groups, mainly to do with Spinones. Today, someone reposted a video that a dog walker had taken at midday on Horsell Common (near Woking).
The dog walker was horrified to hear a man shouting and yelling at dogs in his 'care', which was why she was videoing it. She then started running and shouting because what she saw next horrified her. The man had recalled one of his charges, knelt on it and proceeded to punch it because it had run off.
I thought she was brave confronting him, if he was capable of doing that to a dog, what might he have done to a woman?
Social media has a lot to answer for, but in this case, her posting the video in an effort to identify him, has paid off. He's been recognised and named and shamed. He's registered with the local council, has a fancy website advertising his services, so. hopefully as soon as the Council offices open on Monday, she'll be reporting him.
I can't imagine how the unsuspecting dog owners will feel once they find out about him. It's making my blood boil just thinking about it.
