We've recently been clearing out the loft and found a lot of that stuff. In fact I've got handy the Grandstand Tennis game....connect it up to the telly and two players bounce the ball across the screen. The grandkids will love it........
I've still got some floppy disks, with an external drive to access them. I've got 3 video tapes ........... one with three hours of Gromit and his antics on it, and two of productions that I did at school when I was the music/choir teacher. All I need now is a machine to play them on. And I got rid of a Polaroid camera a few months ago.
I still have my GameBoy - it's turquoise!! I still occasionally play Pokemon (Red!) on it. I do have a GBA but prefer my original one! We still have all our video tapes too - about 1500 of them. We have complete sets of original Star Trek, Next Gen and Deep Space 9 (geek? Moi?) - amongst other things. We keep thinking we should get rid as we have them on DVD too, but we can't quite bring ourselves to take them to the tip. We have a VHS machine to play them on as well.
I have a few 3 1/2 inch floppies around and even the odd 5 1/4. I no longer have anything to read them on but they contain things like my thesis and training courses that I put together so I can't face chucking those out either.
Is it any wonder our house is full, the loft is overflowing, as is the garage and we have two storage units? Ok, who called me a hoarder? smiley-sad050
