Of the top TEN Premier League teams only Manchester City got a home draw...
Since the start of 2017-18 City have faced ZERO of the leading Premier League teams, instead playing Burnley, Cardiff, Wigan, Rotherham, Newport, Swansea, Brighton, Watford, Port Vale and now Fulham... with an aggregate score of 40-6.
As expected Liverpool took a mainly weakened side who were doing OK being 2-0 up at 50 minutes in. Then Shrewsbury clawed one back as Liverpool got complacent. Salah, Firmino and Oxlade-Chamberlain were swiftly dragged off the bench but it was too late as Shrewsbury pulled back an equaliser. Shrewsbury say they could have won it but wanted a return match at Anfield instead, where of course they will be ritually slaughtered but quids on.
