If West Ham had beaten Liverpool tonight, Villa could have mathematically still taken the league title. But they didn't so that makes two pieces of silverware Villa have lost this season because they've got Man City in the Carabao Cup final.
Hmm, a lot to take in there, but it's all very much a "what/if" scenario, even though it could theoretically happen. I'm sure Liverpool would much rather enjoy the honour of winning the title hands down by a country mile this season on their own terms, than a posthumous honour that they really didn't earn other than by possible default.
Brendon Rogers however might disagree, but that's Leicester's gain now.
Kids under 12 are to be banned with immediate effect from heading a football during training, while 12-18 year olds will be given guidelines. The fear of future dementia being the excuse.
And yet at the same time kids as young as five are allowed boxing training, a "sport" where morons like Tyson Fury are encouraged to pummel the living shit out of their opponents head. See Mohammed Ali and others for the end result of that treatment. I cant think of a footballer left brain dead after years of heading the ball.
