Two PL games today, once again I shall be out till late, so if Yorko and cassandra fancy a bit of match reporting...
Chelsea v Newcastle 14.00 KO
Arsenal v Liverpool 16.30 KO
Scousers need to win and go back top of the table, however it's tricky because we need the Gunners to secure the points and push the Villa shysters down.
Geordies need to win full stop as Eddie can't take much more flogging.
Chelsea 2-1 Newcastle Another loss, Geordies have not won since Wolves five weeks ago and there's going to be trouble behead, sorry AHEAD if this continues. Alex Isaaak gave the Geordies hope with an equaliser but Coal Palmer grabbed a winner for The Pensioners.
Arsenal 2-2 Liverpool Hard fought match that helped Scouse Slot more than Misery Mikel, although the Gunners' point did move then above Villa. Liverpool are one point behind Man City at the top which, given Slot is new here, is a great start to the season. Little Mo Salah scored the equaliser, he's getting better now his barnet is returning.
Brighton & Hove Albion 2-3 Liverpool Tricky one for The Scousers as they appear to have played against two teams, Brighton and Hove. Squeaky arses all round, the Seagulls kept dumping everytime Liverpool took the lead, but there was no blot for Slot tonight.
Villa 1-2 Palace Oh happy day! Villa took the proverbial, decided to concentrate on Europe and to feck with the domestic cups. Serves them right, well played Palace.
Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea Great win for The Geordies, much needed confidence booster too. Chelsea did a Villa and played a b-team, ex Leicester boss Maresca basically screwing it up then. He even took Dewsbury-Turncoatshyster-Hall off at half time, such was his faith in his protege. Anyway, good work Newcastle. Just sort your bloody A1 airport route out.
Man Utd 5-2 Leicester An utter disgrace once again from Leicester, Cooper fielding a team of ne'r do wells rather than take the chance of silverware seriously. To be fair, we scored two which is about right against a team who've so under performed this season, and last for that matter. Eric Ten Shags has been sacked, United's interim boss is Rude Van Nistelroy, you might have heard of him from the United glory days. It does make you wonder if their team have been in charge of the dressing room rather than Ten Shags, and thus underperforming.
Who needs the League Cup anyway? We've already won it 7 times.
From a recent agony aunt problem page: 'Dear Auntie Ruth, My father is a mass murderer serving a whole life tariff, my mother is a drug addicted prostitute, my sister is an unmarried mother of 22 kids all by different fathers, one brother is a rapist and my other brother is a Crystal Palace supporter. I've just met a wonderful man but how can I tell my boyfriend I have a brother who is a Crystal Palace supporter?'
