Zawadi sapphire

Looks like a rutilated quartz to me - I think it's a stone that would benefit from a more contemporary setting.

There was a square cut in a neat square setting that looked quite nice but as Min says smoky quartz is similar in colour anyway. Mind you finding SQ in gold isn't always easy. And then there's my obsession with rose gold to throw in lol.

Perhaps I'll stick with SQ.
