E.coli Superbug in 1 in 4 Supermarket Chickens

There's lovely!! Enough to put you off chicken for life. Fortunately if the meat is cooked properly then it really shouldn't be an issue.

I'm glad I shop at Lidl then as they aren't on the list, although that's no guarantee that they're "bug free." But if chicken etc is cooked thoroughly it shouldn't be a health risk. I suppose pre- cooked chicken would be more of an issue though because you're relying on someone else to cook it properly.
