I do have a few of the smaller Charlie Bears (she says, embarrassingly) that I bought quite a while ago, but I really don't like this one. To be honest, I steer away from ones that aren't bears because some of them look really freaky. And after all, the company is called Charlie Bears not Charlie Animals.
Would you be tempted by a Charlie Iguana, Toril, if they could replicate Gromit's amazing colours?
Probably not because I doubt they'd find a plush that felt like iguana skin.
I do have a couple of almost life sized iguana ornaments though ................ one in the lounge and one in the garden, plus quite a few other lizard ornaments round the house. The 'piece de resistance' though is a 3 foot wooden carved komodo dragon that's on the floor in the dining room. Visitors' reaction is usually "wow." I treated myself to it (after having looked at it for weeks in the store window) on the day my divorce came through. A lizard is no reflection on the ex though as he was/is a lovely bloke.
And going back to Charlie Bears ........... as Bears is in their company name I think they should stick to bears because, in the main, their other animals don't look quite right (in my opinion anyway.)
